When you supply any personal information to Young Business Club London (YBCL) we have legal obligations towards you in the way we use this data. We must collect the information fairly, that is, we must explain how we will use it and tell you if we want to pass the information on to anyone else.

In general, any information you provide to YBCL will only be used within YBCL and by its agents and service providers. Your information will be disclosed where we are obliged or permitted by law. Also, if you post or send offensive, inappropriate or objectionable content anywhere on or to YBCL or otherwise engage in any disruptive behaviour on YBCL, YBCL can use whatever information that is available to it about you to stop such behaviour. This may involve informing relevant third parties such as your employer, Internet provider and law enforcement agencies about the content and your behaviour.

GDPR Policy

The Young Business Club London is committed to complying with the new General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) law, that comes into effect from 25th May 2018. The club is a not for profit organisation and our purpose is to facilitate networking and to create commerce in the local business community. To do so we share your name and the name of your organisation on a list with other attendees at our events. The club may also create and distribute photographic images of you when promoting the club’s activities.

We may also have to share some of your personal details with the venue hosting the event, to identify any special dietary requirements or special needs. The information you give us may be made available to the authorities as required by UK law, but we will not share or sell your information to any third parties without first seeking your specific permission to do so.

By becoming a member or candidate member of the club, you are giving us your consent to share your name organisation’s name and photographic image with other members and guests attending club events and on occasion in the media and on social media. You are also agreeing to be accountable for ensuring that, your guests give their consent to share their name, organisations name and photographic image with other attendees at the lunch and on occasion in the media and on social media for networking and promoting the club’s activities.
